What is Favicon Generator?

Favicon Generator creates a complete set of favicon images — 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, 180×180, 192×192, and 512×512 — from either an uploaded image or a text/emoji character. It also generates the HTML link tags you paste into your site's <head>.

How to use Favicon Generator

Choose input mode

Select "From Text/Emoji" to type up to 2 characters with a custom background colour, or "Upload Image" to use a logo or icon file.

Customise text favicons

Set the background colour and text colour using the colour pickers. SVG input produces the sharpest results at all sizes.

Preview all sizes

The preview grid shows how your favicon looks at each standard size — useful for spotting which sizes lose too much detail.

Download individually or all at once

Click "Download All Sizes" for a batch download, or hover over any preview to download that specific size.

Copy the HTML

The HTML Code panel shows ready-to-use link tags. Copy and paste them into the <head> of your HTML document.
