1. Overview & Single-Purpose Commitment
This Privacy Policy applies to the LeadIntel AI: B2B Sales & Lead Prospector browser extension ("LeadIntel AI", "we," "us," or "our"), developed and published by Toolscase.
LeadIntel AI is designed to assist sales, marketing, and business development professionals in analyzing public business websites, discovering verified B2B contact information, evaluating website technology stacks, and generating AI-assisted prospect scores directly in their browser sidebar.
LeadIntel AI collects and processes user data strictly for its stated single purpose: providing on-demand B2B sales intelligence and account management. In accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We do NOT use or transfer user data for serving personalized, targeted, or retargeted advertisements.
- We do NOT use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- We do NOT sell, trade, or monetize user data under any circumstance.
- We do NOT transfer user data to data brokers or information resellers.
2. User Data Collection (What We Collect)
We practice strict data minimization. The table below details the exact categories of data collected and processed by LeadIntel AI:
Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
When you create a Toolscase account or sign in using Google Sign-In or email credentials, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided). This data is collected solely to create and manage your user account, authenticate your login sessions, and track your daily scan quota allowance. We do not collect government identifiers, financial information, health data, or sensitive demographic data.
Authentication Information
We handle encrypted session tokens (JSON Web Tokens / Bearer credentials) generated during sign-in to authenticate your extension client with the Toolscase API gateways. Authentication credentials are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and stored locally in your browser sandboxed storage (chrome.storage.local). We never store plaintext passwords.
Website Content (On-Demand DOM & Technical Signals)
When you explicitly initiate a domain scan via the side panel, popup, or context menu, LeadIntel AI inspects public on-page elements — including page title, meta description, script sources, mailto: email addresses, tel: phone numbers, and social media links — solely to detect installed technology frameworks and extract verified business contacts. This data is read on-demand only. LeadIntel AI does NOT passively monitor, record, or track your general web browsing history or unvisited tabs.
Local Extension Data & Preferences
Your recent domain scan results, saved prospect lists, company tags, custom notes, export configurations, and UI settings (such as dark/light mode) are stored locally on your device via chrome.storage.local for your convenience.
3. User Data Handling & Usage (How We Use Your Data)
All data handled by LeadIntel AI is processed solely for the following operational workflows:
- Executing On-Demand Domain Intelligence: Inspecting public webpage metadata, headers, and DOM scripts to detect tech stacks and compute B2B prospect fit scores when initiated by the user.
- User Account Authentication & Quota Management: Authenticating user login status and tracking daily scan quotas associated with your Toolscase user account.
- Personalized Sales Outreach Drafts: Synthesizing public company context into custom sales pitch drafts.
- Infrastructure Security & Rate-Limiting: Preventing automated scraping abuse and maintaining backend API availability.
4. User Data Storage, Retention & Deletion
We define clear, transparent storage mechanisms and retention timelines:
A. Local Client Storage (chrome.storage.local)
Your authentication token, recent scan history, saved companies, custom tags, and UI settings are stored exclusively on your local device. This data remains on your machine and can be cleared instantly via the extension's History tab or by uninstalling the extension.
B. Ephemeral Server Processing (In-Transit Only)
When you scan a domain, technical analysis is executed in-memory in transit and returned to your extension client over encrypted HTTPS/TLS 1.3. We do NOT maintain a permanent database of websites you browse or scan.
C. Account Retention Period & Deletion Process
Your account profile (email address, name, daily usage counts) is retained only for the duration of your active Toolscase account. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can submit a deletion request to privacy@toolscase.com. Account deletion requests are permanently fulfilled within 30 days.
5. User Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
Strict No-Sale & No-Monetization Policy
We NEVER sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or browsing data to third parties. We do not provide user data to data brokers, advertising networks, or third-party marketing services.

In accordance with Google Chrome Web Store Developer Policies, every requested permission is mapped directly to a core user-facing capability:

Allows LeadIntel AI to read the active website URL and inspect DOM contact elements ONLY when you explicitly trigger a scan or open the side panel.
storage
Required to store your authentication session, scan history, preferences, and daily usage state locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local).
sidePanel
Enables LeadIntel AI to present rich prospect scoring, tech stack cards, and verified email summaries alongside your active browser tab.
contextMenus
Adds convenient right-click shortcuts on links and tabs so you can launch LeadIntel AI analysis directly from any webpage.
scripting
Used solely as a fallback mechanism to inject the analysis script when a user triggers a scan on a tab that was already open prior to extension installation.
host_permissions (<all_urls>)
Allows the extension to communicate with the Toolscase secure API gateways (api.toolscase.com) and analyze target public B2B business domains requested by the user.
7. Security & Encryption Standards
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your information:
- •Encryption in Transit: All communication between the extension and backend API servers is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / HTTPS protocols.
- •Token Security: User authentication tokens are securely hashed and stored only in sandboxed extension storage.
- •No Remote Code Execution: The extension is 100% self-contained and complies strictly with Manifest V3 policies against remotely hosted code.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
LeadIntel AI does not use cookies. The extension does not set, read, or modify browser cookies on any website you visit. We do not use tracking pixels, web beacons, fingerprinting, or any passive behavioural tracking technology.
The only local storage mechanism used by LeadIntel AI is chrome.storage.local — a sandboxed, browser-native storage API that is inaccessible to websites and third parties. It stores only your authentication token, recent scan history, and UI preferences. No cross-site tracking of any kind occurs.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)
LeadIntel AI is a professional B2B sales intelligence tool intended solely for adults aged 18 and over. This extension is not directed at, designed for, or intended to be used by children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions governed by GDPR-K or equivalent child privacy regulations).
We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete such information promptly. 10. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Global)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
