Toolscase CapturePDF ("we," "us," or "our") is a browser extension designed to save web pages, URLs, and HTML code as PDF files or screenshots. This Privacy Policy describes the minimal scopes of data processed by this tool and our data-handling values.

To deliver high-fidelity conversions and captures, CapturePDF processes these items:
Webpage Data & HTML Code
When you request a webpage or HTML-to-PDF conversion, the raw code, DOM structure, or URL is processed ephemerally. We do not inspect, retain, or store your page context or input code permanently on our servers. Converted outputs are returned directly to your downloads directory.
Local Configuration & History
All conversion options, viewport dimensions, recent history, and extension settings are stored inside local Chrome extension storage. This metadata is not synchronized to external third-party servers.
Privacy Integrity Promise
Your captured pages, markup code, and PDF downloads are never analyzed, sold, or shared with advertisers. We only convert the data in transit and delete files instantly.
Extension Permissions Usage
The CapturePDF extension requests the following permission levels to execute operations:
activeTab
Required to extract document structure, styling, or take screenshots of the active browser viewport when you trigger the action.
scripting
Used to run helper scripts inside the tab context for scrolling screenshots and compiling DOM assets.
tabs
Required to open new tabs for previewing converted PDFs, downloading files, or navigating help links.
host_permissions (<all_urls>)
Allows CapturePDF to execute capture and screenshot rendering capabilities across various website domains that you request.
